FECAL OCCULT BLOOD TESTS
A fecal occult blood test designed to detect the presence of blood in stool specimens. It uses guaiac-impregnated paper, which allows for greater sensitivity for early detection of even small amounts of blood in the stool.
The test is available for in-office use, or can be taken home for the convenience of the patient. The test results are read after 30 seconds and within 2 minutes.
